The theme of thesis for the 1st level Master in “Ecopackaging Design: Innovation design for packaging design” deals with my experience at an Italian cosmetics company that is cutting-edge and very attentive to environmental issues.

Packaging design also includes the holistic approach of Systemic Design, making packaging the point of origin of a network between local actors: primary and tertiary packaging is reusable, refillable, recyclable and made from production waste of the company being analyzed.

The study is therefore not limited only to the composition of packaging but extends to its entire life cycle: from the origin of raw materials, to production, packaging, logistics, sales (online and in-store) and interaction with the consumer up to the end of life of the product, to measure its impact. Finally, interaction and communication play a fundamental role in improving the experience and dissemination to the end user.
